Imphal East police seizes liquor

Imphal, February 13 2022: As part of the security measures being taken up to ensure a violence free election in the state, Imphal East district police seized IMFL and locally brewed liquor on Sunday.

According to police, a joint team led by Imphal East commando OC inspector Kh Henry and Heingang PS OC inspector Kh Pathou conducted drive in Heingang, Koirengei and Pangei area and seized IMFL and DIC liquor.

The seized liquor included two cases of Kingfisher beer, one Royal Stag bottle, one Leipul bottle, five Old monk bottles, three Blenders Pride bottles, three McDowell's No.Thalf bottles, one Sterling Reserve half bottle, one Leipul foreign half bottle, 11 Old Monk quarter bottles, 11 Blenders Pride quarter bottles, two OC blue quarter bottles, three McDowell's No 1 quarter bottles and 100 litres of DIC liquor.

The seized liquor consignment has been handed over to Heingang PS for further action, it added.
