Money accident: Blood donated, UPK condoles

Imphal, December 26 2022:
Member and volunteers of Shree Shree Gourgobind Girls' College Internal Quality Assurance Cell, National Service Scheme and Youth Red Cross donated blood at JNIMS blood bank on Monday to ensure that the Noney accident survivors undergoing treatment do not face shortage of blood.
Speaking to the media on the side-lines of the programme, College principal Dr K Jaboshakhi Devi informed that the blood camp was organised to meet requirement of blood transfusion, if any, for students injured in the tragic Longsai Part 3(Tubung) bus accident admitted in various hospitals.
Meanwhile, Uipo Pawrwaa Koutun (UPK) has expressed its deepest condolence over the demise of students, teachers and warden in the Longsai bus accident.
In a release, UPK information secretary Kominshang Saka and general secretary Koshyelsaang Khaling said that it is hard to accept the emptiness and heartbreak left behind due to loss of precious lives in the accident.
Sharing the grief of the families who lost their beloved ones, the UPK prayed for peace of the departed soul and also speedy recovery of the injured.
