Political dialogue only way to solving conflict: Dr M Nara

Communist Party of India-Manipur State Council (CPI-MSC) has extended deep condolences over the demise of CPI leader and pioneers of left, student and farmers' movement, Atul Kumar Anjan, who passed away on May 3 .
On Saturday, CPI-MSC held a condolence meeting at Irawat Bhawan and offered floral tributes to the portrait of the deceased.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr M Nara recounted the contribution of Atul Kumar Anjan to the society.
His untimely demise is a huge loss not only to the communist movement but to the society, he said.
Responding to questions from newspersons regarding the prevailing situation in the state, Dr Nara stated that political dialogue is the only way to resolve the conflict.
As such, he urged the government to hold a political dialogue, in addition to putting an end to firing incidents and ensuring rehabilitation of displaced people.
The meeting was attended by Manipur Loumi Lup president N Singhajit; CPI-MSC state secretary L Thoiren; CPI-MSC former state secretary L Sotinkumar; CPI-MSC assistant secretary M Joykumar and Manipur Loumi Lup worlting president S Nilakamal.
