KMAC bag three gold medals as Kid and Mini State Archery C'ship begins

KMAC clinched three gold medals as the 5th Kid and 14th Mini State Archery Championships kicked off at Khuman Lampak under the aegis of Manipur Archery Association.
The event is organised by Commandant Khoisnam Sarma Devi, 9 IRB (Mahilla) .
In the Mini boys and girls Indian round competitions held today, KMAC bagged three gold and one bronze medal.
Ningombam Linthoisana of AAC bagged the 30+30 m Indian round gold medal for individual girls with a total score of 669 points.
Finishing second was Linthoi Sorensangbam of YAC who scored 643 points and KMAC's Tonjam Kelbina bagged the bronze with a score of 636 points.

KMAC's first gold medal was won by Yumnam Jackson who top-scored in the individual boys 30+30 m Indian round event with a 693 point finish.
Yumnam Bimolchandra of LMLCC won the silver medal in the competition with a score of 680 points while Thiyam Volta of SICA won the bronze with 675 points.
In the India round team event for girls, KMAC team of Tonjam Kelbina, Elangbam Lucky and Waikhom Dhanamanjuri amassed 1890 points to grab the gold medal.
BCAC team comprising S Lingjenthoibi, Nyanshi Akoijam and Tekcham Tenita secured silver medal with a total score of 1697 points while YAC team comprising Linthoi Sorensangbam, Ningombam Lanchenbi and Sanasam Malemnganbi settled for the bronze medal with 1682 points.
In the boys team competition, Yumnam Jackson, Wahengbam Suraj, Moirangthem Tomba and Yumnam Bishonath of KMAC finished on top with 1998 points to secure the gold medal.
VAA's Paikhomba Chongtham, Raju Moirangthem, Luhenba Heikrujam and Moirangthem Arunkumar who gathered 1907 points finished second in the same event as UYSC's Moirangthem Joykaman, Clinton Elangbam and Wahengbam Simon won the bronze with 1813 points.
