The annual gathering of Ambassadors/High Commissioners and other diplomats of the New Delhi based Diplomatic Corps saw representations from over 59 countries.

as India embarks upon a very ambitious programme of "Aatma Nirbhar Bharat" through which it seeks to position India as a reliable and transparent, alternate manufacturing destination in the world, thereby pushing for the country to play a big role in the global supply and value chains.
He also highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Government is working tirelessly to provide the industry with a major boost to productivity through lowered costs of manufacturing and a rise in quality of the output in India.
Dr Ranjan Singh also claimed that as India grows by engaging the creative energies of it's 1.3 billion people, old connections and new partnerships will have to be harnessed.
He called on the gathering to explore and initiate new conversations to generate ideas for new cooperation.
