Manipur Sangais vs Sikkim Pandas in 1st NE Women's Football League final

Manipur Sangais will lock horns with Sikkim Pandas in the ultimate clash of the 1st North East Women's Football League Toumament organised by the All Manipur Football Association at SAI ground, Takyel.
In the first semi-final match of the tournament, Manipur Sangais overwhelmed Meghalaya Leopards 4-0 courtesy Prameshwori double to seal the final ticket.
Manipur Sangais, after an unbeaten run in the league stage, and fourth placed, Meghalaya cancelled out one another in the earlier part of the tournament to settle the first half in a goalless draw.
However, Manipur raced ahead in the 51st minute before Ratanbala doubled the advantage after 61 minutes.
Prameshwori was on the target again in the 69th minute to make it 3-0 before S Rinaroy rounded off the scoring in the 72nd minute.
Meanwhile in the second semi-final match, Sikkim Pandas romped 3-0 past Arunachal Pradesh Tigers thanks to Naocha double to set up the final date with Manipur Sangais.
Naocha gave Sikkim Pandas a slender 1-0 lead after 34 minutes and completed her double in the 69th minute.
Sujana Rai then hit the decisive goal in the 70th minute.
The final match starts tomorrow at 2.30 pm .
