State Covid-free, once again

Imphal, January 10 2023: The state has once again achieved Covid-free status on Tuesday after the lone active case was discharged from home isolation.

After a long period, the state became Covid-free on December 21 last year and the status was maintained till December 31.New Year began with one fresh case followed by another new case a couple of days later.

The first case was discharged a couple of days ago and the remaining active case got discharged on Tuesday.

Government bulletins on Tuesday reported no new case out of 84 samples tested in the last 24 hours.

The total number of reported cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 1,39,924 including 2149 deaths.

On the other hand, no vaccination was done on Sunday, which leaves the total number of vaccinated people to 16,48,740 out of which 13,38,161 had received the second dose and 2,79.114 taken precautionary doses.
