Spot painting competition organised

Imphal, September 25 2022:
Rotary Club of Imphal organised an on-the-spot painting competition at Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri on Sunday as part of its vocational services.
In all, 250 students participated in the competition which was conducted in two categories.
In Group A (Class IV-VI), which was held on the topic, 'Any picture of animal or bird', Bikrama Lourembam of The Comprehensive School, Oinam bagged the first place, Lenison Rajkumar of The Ushus School, Soibam Leikai second and Khumukcham Chaoremba of KV-1 Lamphel the third prize.
Consolation prize winners are Chanchai Kangbam of KV-1 Lamphel, Minerva Thoidingjam of KV-2 Langjing and Abujam Ranjan of Primary School Heirok Part-III, Heirok Kabo Leikai.
In group B (Class VII-X) which was held on the topic of Community Service', Juliana Thoidingjam of KV-1 Lamphel, Sunaina Saikhom of KV-1 Lamphel and Yaiphaba Ningthoujam of Wangkhei High School won first, second and their place respectively.
Winners of the consolation prizes include Khumukcham Anjelina of KV-Lamphel, Wangkheimayum Hiyaileima of Mega Manipur School, Yaralpat, Thiyam Jesi of RK Sanatombi Devi Vidyalaya and Pebam Ranibal of Brighter Academy, New Checkon.
The prizes will be distributed during the official visit of Club governor.
Meanwhile, Vocational Services director L Niranjan has said that the competition was organised with the aim of encouraging the artistic and creative talent of the children; while Club president Pramod Jaiswal lauded the hard works of the students during the competition.
