Don't repeat tender on security: MGS

Reacting to a news report relating to the demand for floating re-tender for security deployment at Churachandpur Medical College, Manipur Guard Service (MGS) has asserted that the said tender process should not be repeated.
In a release, MGS informed that a tender process for security deployment at the Medical College was conducted on October 26 at Lamphel office of the Medical Directorate wherein seven agencies submitted relevant documents for the tender.
Though technical bid and financial bid should be submitted separately for the tender, an agency, which submitted the tender wrongly in violation of para no.8 of the terms and conditions set by Directorate of Health Service, requested for rectifying the mistake to which the committee of the health department directed the agency in question to take approval from oth er participating agencies.
However, no approval was given to the agency by other agencies in the race for the tender.
As such, in the final assessment, Super Secure Security Service and Ma nipur Guard Service were listed for technical bid, the release added.
Reacting to the news report related to the'demand raised by a disqualified agency for re-tendering, MGS cautioned of taking legal help if re-tender is done.
