Due to a ragging incident at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Tuinom in Churachandpur, a student lost his career by failing to appear CBSE exam this year.
As per report, the ragging incident happened on March 15 last when three students of class XII beat up students of class IX section A and B after calling them out from their rooms at night.
Though the incident did not surfaced, school authorities knew about it and this angered senior students who again threatened the students.
Fearing that he would be beaten/harassed again by seniors, a class IX student who studied at the school since 2017 and having back and pelvic pains never turned up to the school.
The student is now having abnormal fear and apprehensions after experiencing the severe beating and abuse by his senior students.
The reason for the alleged ragging of the student by his seniors was that he consumed all water and not left anything for seniors after food and loud tapping sound produced by his shoes when he walks as well as failure to courteously greet senior students.
