No new case detected, 2 recover

Imphal, April 30 2022:
The state reported no new case of Covid-19 for the second consecutive day and four times in the current month of April even as 122 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
No death cases were reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2120 .
Till date, the virus has claimed lives of 194 vaccinated people, of which 61 had received second dose of Covid vaccine.
In the last 24 hours, two patients were discharged from home isolation.
Number of active cases came down to 15 out of which 7 (46.67 per cent) are in home isolation.
There are 300 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 190 in RIMS.
So far, the state has recorded 11,432 positive cases and 118 fatalities since the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic.
The cumulative number of positive cases remain at 1,37,220 (general population - 1,32,206 and CAPF personnel - 5,014) while number of recovered cases is 1,35,085 (general population - 1,30,078 and CAPF personnel - 5,007) and number of active cases is 15 (general population).
The recovery rate stands at 98.44 per cent.
A total of 143 D-type and 13 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours and 3012 vaccine doses administered on Friday taking the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 15,56,766, including 12,04,425 who have received the second doses and 83,110 taken the precautionary doses.
Data analysed by this daily shows that the rate of infection remains 44,222 confirmed cases per million population (based on projected population of 31,03,000 as per NCP report) against the national average of 30,665 CPM.
Test rate has improved to 5,18,734 tests per million population against the national average of 5,96,164 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent while cumulative positivity rate declined to 8.52 per cent.
