Imphal, April 30 2022:
The Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) has lauded both the groups of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) for signing the 'historic agreement' to become one unified body in the greater interest of the Zeliangrong people.
A press release issued by ZU (AMN) appreciated Raitu Chawang and Jenchui Kamei, the leaders of two ZUF groups for 'acknowledging the sentiment and aspiration of the Zeliangrong civil organisations.
ZU (AMN) also appealed for unity and reconciliation to all the negotiating Naga armed groups, political parties and civil society organisations for achieving the political aspiration of the Naga people at this crucial juncture.
Claiming that many political groups and CSOs as well as National workers are expressing different opinions over the Naga political talks, it added that the Government of India has tactfully delayed the Naga political solution which is acceptable and honourable.
ZU (AMN) then appealed to all the Naga National workers, political groups and CSOs to come together and work in the greater interest of the Naga people.
