Asking whether there is any rule of law prevailing in the State of Manipur, TSL said such barbaric acts cannot bring peace amid the present tension.
TSL said the Nagas have been advocating peace and bearing in silence the brunt of the riot between Meetei/Meitei and Kuki communities.
The association demanded justice and stringent punishment to all culprits involved according to the law.
In a statement, the Tangkhul Shanao Long Imphal (TSLI) too condemned the brutal killing of M Lucy Maring saying it was "wrong...terribly wrong and only God can forgive the perpetrators" .

Our hearts are heavy sharing the pain and suffering of the bereaved family.
RIP dear Lucy," said TSLI.
May God give her daughter the strength to carry her life without parents, prayed TSLI.

The district women body considers such gruesome murder as a direct threat to the Nagas, said the association.
It urged law enforcing agencies to book all those involved in the crime and give exemplary punishment to avoid such acts in the future.
The association conveyed their deepest condolence to the bereaved families and prayed to God to give them enough strength to bear the loss at this hour of grief.
The Naga Women Union, Chandel (NWUC), said the murder of M Lucy was a cowardice and barbaric act that is condemned by every right thinking citizen.

We must strive for a future where violence and animosity are replaced by compassion, cooperation, and harmony," said MAC.
