14 cagers selected for sub-junior tourney

Imphal, July 18 2023: Manipur Basketball Association (MBA) has named 14 players to represent the state in the 48th Sub-Juitiior National Basketball Championship to be held at Puducherry from August 3 to 9 .

According to MBA, the selected players are Achom Prince Singh & Chingkhe-inganba Maibarri of CYLC; Satish Kshetrimayum, Brahmacharimayum Mil-kan Sharma, John Kennedy Kangabam, Guru-aribam Satcha raj Sharma, Hawaibam Pamel Singh & Laimayum Sachin Sharma of ESU; Kshetrimayum Chaoba Singh & Arderson Keithellakpam of LMYVA; Daniel Sandham of YOSC; and Thokchom Gison Singh of MODE.

Loktombam Tomthin ganba Meitei of LMYVA and Bernard Wahengbam of ESU are the reserve players.

The selected1 shall have to report to coach cum manager H Dinesh Singh and assistant coach Borish Achom at Brahrnapur Na-habam Basketball Court at 6 am and 4 pm daily.

The state team will leave for Puducherry on July 30, it added.
