Maram Students Union clarifies

The Maram Students' Union, officially known as Maralui Karalimei Swijoikang (MKS) has clarified that the student body did not send any representation to meet the Chief Minister on July 14 last.
With regards to the post of Chief Minister of Manipur on his various social media pages given as "Representatives of Maram Students' Union called on me at my office today..." dated July 14, 2023, a clarification issued by the Information and Publicity Secretary, MKS said that the student body did not send any representatives to meet the Chief Minister or call on him.
The visit was a personal visit by a few individuals and they do not represent the organization or the community at large.
It is really unfortunate that the name of the office was misused, it said.
The student body apologized for any misunderstanding that the said post might have created among individuals or communities, and made it clear that it is purely for personal interests and the representation does not represent the organization or community's interest.
The student body of Maram community also appealed to any department, office, business or individuals to kindly confirm with the President of the organization in case of any individual or group approaching them using the name of the organization.
