AMDWA flays Govt inaction to end conflict

While contending that people are yet to see or experience any notable efforts from the BJP double-engine government to end the ethnic clashes, All Manipur Democratic Women's Association (AMDWA) said that inaction of the government compels one to wonder whether the establish is trying to wipe out the minority ethnic groups.
In a release, AMDWA informed that a national executive meeting of All India Democratic Women's Association was held at Hyderabad which figured discussion on the present restive situation and ethnic clashes in Manipur.
AMDWA president Chanambam Sundari Devi and secretary Ayekpam Ashabala attended the meeting as state's representatives, it informed, while adding that a two minutes' silence was also observed to condole those who lost their lives in the clashes.
The national meeting also resolved to take initiatives to restore peace and normalcy in the state, it said.
