Imphal, July 11 2023:
Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) said that the list of injured Myanmarese nationals reportedly shared by Churachandpur district police to Chandel police on June 28 clearly indicates conspiracy of the government of India behind the attack on Meetei people by the Kukis along with Myanmar nationals.
According to a COCOMI statement, the government of India cannot deny involvement of illegal immigrants in the ongoing conflict as both Churachandpur police and Chandel police have full knowledge of involvement of Chin-Kuki narco-terrorists coming from Myanmar in carrying out attacks on Meetei people.
If the Manipur security advisor fails to clarify the reasons for concealing the matter to the public, the people of Manipur particularly the Meetei community nave no point in trusting the government of India any further, the COCOMI said.
According to the statement, bomb and bullet casualties suffered by the Myanmarese nationals in two phases on June 16 and 19 and accordingly underwent treatment at Churachandpur district hospital as mentioned in the communique by Churachandpur police to Chandel police clearly indicates that illegal immigrants from Myanmar are involved in attacking Meetei people.
Even as top police officers of Churachandpur district acknowledged the matter fully, government made no report and concealed the matter.
This clearly indicates that Indian security agencies are in Manipur to assist Chin-Kuki narco-ter-rorists in attacking Meetei community, the COCOMI said and warned that the people of Manipur will launch intense movement to withdraw all central forces from Manipur if the security advisor despatched by the government of India fails to clarify the matter within two days.
With all the evidences of government of India's support to Chin-Kuki narco terrorists now m public domain and in view of the emerging situation, time has come for entire employees of Manipur government and legislators to take a collective decision.
Knocking at- the door of Delhi for justice will now be waste of time and money as Government of India will never protect Meetei society.
If people of Manipur do not oppose government of India's nefarious policy of allowing foreigners to attack their own citizens, Meetei society will be in a precarious situation, COCOMI said adding that there is no point in trusting the establishment anymore.
