Imphal, April 10 2024:
Accusing the Congress party of misleading the people of both the hills and the valley, CAF&PD Minister L Susindro has called upon all the voters to teach the Congress party a befitting lesson in the ensuing Lok Sabha election.
Speaking to media persons at his Khurai Tinsid road residence today, Susindro remarked that the Congress candidate in Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency must first study what Congress party did in the past or the preceding years.
It appears that the candidate has little knowledge of what Congress party did some years back, he said.
The Congress candidate's attitude to teach the people as if they are his students is rather surprising even if he is quite knowledgeable, Susindro said.

Saying that the Congress party has been always working together with those elements scheming to disintegrate Manipur, the CAF&PD Minister stated that the Congress party's candidate in Outer Manipur PC met with ITLF leaders on Tuesday and worked out his poll strategy.
The Congress party has been abetting those people scheming to create unrest.
Even though there is no such thing as the Anglo-Kuki War, the previous Congress Government gave recognition to the fictional war, the BJP Minister said.
The ongoing crisis is also a result of the misplaced policies of the Congress Government, he said.
The Congress party has also been constantly opposing the popular demand of enlisting Meitei/Meetei in the ST category.
If there were no objections from the Congress party, the people's demand might have been fulfilled without much difficulty, Susindro said.
On the other hand, the incumbent Government has been working to fulfil the people's aspiration.
People are witnesses to the many activities and initiatives taken up by the BJP Government to protect the indigenous people of Manipur, he claimed.
The Congress candidates of the ensuing election have been making contradictory statements on the issue of enlisting Meitei/Meetei in the ST category, he remarked.
The Congress candidate in Outer Manipur PC has been openly saying that he would never allow enlistment of Meitei/Meetei in the ST category.
At the same time, the party's candidate in Inner Manipur PC has been saying that he would work to get Meitei/Meitei enlisted in the ST category, he said.
The BJP Minister then appealed to the people to be wary of the ambiguous Congress party which has been befooling the masses.
If the Congress party is bold enough, let them come out with a single unambiguous statement on the issue of Meitei's demand for ST status, he continued.
Commenting on the Congress party's manifesto, Susindro asked if there is any difference between 'administrative settlement' and 'separate administration', and impressive replies do not mean they are always true, Susindro said.
Congress first entered into the Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement after hiring an MP from a neighbouring country.
The MP then brought large numbers of illegal immigrants to Manipur and it gave birth to the current crisis, he said.
The crisis broke out from the rallies organised by ATSUM and it would not be wrong to say that ATSUM is a mouthpiece of the Congress party, he continued.
Congress party detests peaceful co-existence among the indigenous communities, he added.
