ABVP conducts voting awareness campaign

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur, has achieved a significant milestone in promoting civic engagement and voter participation with its recently concluded awareness campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024.According to a release issued by ABVP Manipur, the awareness campaign under the banner of "NO to NOTA, Yes to Vote" was carried out at Moirang College, Kumbi College, Thanga Hr Sec School and Ningthoukhong.
A total of 150 youths participated in the campaign aimed to empower and educate citizens, especially the youth, about the importance of casting informed votes and rejecting the option of NOTA (None Of The Above) .
In a series of events spanning across educational institutions, public spaces, and digital platforms, ABVP Manipur mobilised volunteers and engaged with students and community members to emphasize the significance of active participation in the democratic process.
Through workshops, seminars, street plays, and social media outreach, the campaign shed light on the pivotal role each vote plays in shaping the nation's future.
Gautam Philem, state secretary and RK Yaikhomba Singh, state joint secretary of ABVP Manipur, expressed their gratitude for the enthusiastic participation of students, educators, and community leaders in the campaign.
