ABVP holds awareness campaign on Lok Sabha polls

Imphal, April 10 2024:
Akhil Bharatiya Vidy-arthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur conducted an awareness campaign on Lok Sabha Elections 2024 under the banner "No to NOTA, Yes to Vote", on Wednesday.
The campaign held at Moirang College, Kumbi College, Thanga Higher Secondary School and Ningthoukhong, aimed to empower and educate citizens, especially the youths, about the importance of casting informed votes and rejecting the option of NOTA (None of The Above) .
The campaign was attended by a total of 150 youths.
ABVP, Manipur mobilised volunteers and engaged with students and community members to emphasise on the significance of active participation in the democratic process during the campaign.
Through workshops, seminars, street plays, and social media outreach, the campaign shed light on the pivotal role each vote plays in shaping the nation's future.
ABVP state secretaiy Gautam Philem and joint secretary RK Yaikhomba Singh expressed their gratitude for the enthusiastic participation of students, educators and community leaders and said that the campaign is aimed at not only raising awareness but also to instilling sense of responsibility among citizens towards nation-building.
By urging individuals to say 'No' to NOTA and embrace the power of their vote, we are fostering a culture of democratic engagement and accountability, they said.
