3rd IRB CO assures to cover medical costs for youths hurt in IRB/RAF assault

The Commanding Officer of 3rd IRB has assured to bear the medical expenses of three volunteers at Rice Research Station, Khangabok relief camp who were detained and roughed up by security personnel of 3rd IRB and RAF on the night of July 5 for no valid reason.
According to a statement issued by Khangabok Relief Committee, the three youths are Moirangthem Prabin Singh (27), s/o M Inaobi Singh of Khangabok Part I Bangsibudou Leikai; Khundrakpam Roshan Singh (23), s/o Kh Budha Singh of Khangabok Part II Palli Leikai and Khundrakpam Nareshkumar Singh (21), s/o Kh Budhachandra Singh of Khangabok Part I Khullakpam Leikai.
On the fateful night of the incident, security personnel of 3rd IRB and RAF dropped the female volunteers of Rice Research Station relief camp back to their homes around 8 pm.
On their way back to the campus, they detained the aforementioned three youths who were working as volunteers at the said camp and proceeded to assault them both physically and verbally.
The statement further shared that the 3rd IRB Commanding Officer assured to cover the medical costs of the three youths and gave his word that such an incident will never be repeated.
