Relief materials provided to displaced people

Pan-India Manipuri Meitei Scientists and Academicians Association (PIMMSAA) extended relief materials to the relief camp opened at Wangoo in Kakching district on August 30 .
The relief materials include edible items, essential items, study materials and school bags for the students.
The association extended the relief materials as a part of its continued philanthropic activities for the welfare of the displaced people taking refuge in various relief camps across the State.
It is worth noting that PIMMSAA had sponsored the semester fees and other financial assistance for three students from Moreh who are studying outside Manipur.

PIMMSAA also assured to extend best possible support to the displaced people.
Pan-India Manipuri Meitei Scientists and Academicians Association (PIMMSAA) is a recently formed body by the Meitei Scientists and Academicians currently based outside Manipur.
The association shared the loss and suffering of the people adversely affected by the tragic communal conflict in Manipur and affirmed to stand against all forces posing threat to the integrity of Manipur.
Further it pledged support to the efforts of civil society organisations and people of Manipur for safeguarding the integrity of Manipur and restoration of peace and normalcy.
Meanwhile, a team led by M Uttamkumar, Personal Assistant of MLA of Moirang Assembly Constituency provided edible items to displaced people taking refuge at their friends and relatives place in Tronglaobi today.
The items were provided to around 200 displaced people for the third phase in today' s programme organised by MLA Office Moirang at Ibudhou Nongpok Ningthou Apanba Apanbi Laibung.
Four kilograms of rice along with other edible items were distributed to every individual.
It is worth mentioning that thousands of Meiteis have been displaced and are taking refuge in various relief centres opened across the State due to the ongoing communal conflict.
Unprecedented acts of violence like arson, killing etc have compelled these people to fled their homes to safer places.
