Imphal, January 20 2014 :
Unbeaten in the ongoing Federation Cup, Rangdajied United FC are desperately seeking for a win against Sporting Clube de Goa when they face them in the 3rd round of the tournament in Majeri on Tuesday.
Dubbed as the 'Group of Death', Group-B really lived up to it, as all the four teams still have a chance to make it to the semis.
But for Rangdajied United to progress, they cannot do it without beating Sporting Goa while hoping that Bengaluru FC are defeated by East Bengal.
In case, East Bengal hold Bengaluru, then the Shillong side and Ashley Westwood side will be tied on 5 points each.
Even on head-to-head count, they will remain tied as their match ended 1-1 .
In that case, the goal difference will come into play and Rangdajied United have inferior goal difference to Bengaluru FC.
Going into the match, Rangdajied are a much confident lot then before.
Kim Song have proved to be a thorn for opponent defenders while Edmar Figueira is finally showing his true potential.
However, the injury of Manandeep Singh has been a great setback for the Federation Cup debutants.
But in the end, until the good performances are translated into victories, the good performances becomes a vain.
