Nowadays, even cattle grazing in paddy fields are being killed to take their meat.
Criminal and unlawful activities shot up all of a sudden since a designated camp of KCP-MC was opened inside the 9th Dogra Rifles camp at Loitang Khunou.
She further appealed to the State Government and its law enforcing agencies to book the thieves, and protect lives and properties of civilians.
Later, the Meira Paibis took out a protest rally marching up to Sekmai police station and the 9th Dogra Rifles camp where they submitted copies of a memorandum.
Notably, one cadre of KCP-MC (Lanheiba Group) which is under sort of understanding with the Government was rounded up and handed over to Sekmai police on the charge of stealing battery from a stationary truck.
Earlier on December 10 last year, local people demanded immediate removal of 9th Dogra Rifles camp along with the designated camp of KCP-MC (Lanheiba Group) from Loitang Khunou.
