Nabashyam added that representatives of the Front would meet President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to apprise these issues tomorrow.
With regard to Manipur, the Front would urge the Prime Minister for early revampment of NH-37, implementation of ILPS, repeal of AFSPA and measures for regular power supply.
Movement of heavy vehicles on NH-37 could not be restored till date due to weak condition of Makru bridge, Nabashyam said.
Regarding the ILPS issue, Nabashyam said that the rate of non-local population has crossed 30 per cent in Manipur.
In Assam as well, population of non-local is greater than population of indigenous people, he said.
