State Karate team head to Dehradun for U-21 and Senior Nationals

Imphal, February 12 2023:
An 18,-member State Karate team left Imphal today for the U-21 and Senior All India Karate Championship to be organised by Karate India Organisation and hosted by Uttarakhand Karate Association.
The championship will be held from February 17 to 19 at Dehradun.
The players who will be representing Manipur in the National championships are- Soibam James (-50 kg Kumite), Ch Lanchenba Singh (-55 kg Kumite), Thongam Suraj (-60 kg Kumite), L Premjit (Kata, -67 kg Kumite), Heikham Jemson (-75 kg Kumite), Thounaojam Herojit (-84 kg Kumite), Y Stalin (+84 kg Kumite), L Yaiphaba (Kata), M Joychandra (-60 kg Kumite), KM Sofiya (-45 kg Kumite), Konjengbam Dorita (Kata, -45 kg Kumite), Ph Anandi (-50 kg Kumite), Kh Roshni (-55 kg Kumite) and Khumukcham Diana (-61 kg Kumite).
The team were led by four officials- Md Tala Ahamed, Soibam Bindeshori, Arambam Greatson and Md Raffijudin.
