LNKR-M cheers exam centre at Tamei

Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, Manipur (LNKR-M) or Liangmai students' body has extended its heartfelt gratitude to authorities concerned, individuals and 'respected leaders' who rendered relentless service towards setting up of an examination centre at Langmei Higher Secondary School, Tamei for the ensuing class 12 examination to be conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (CoHSEM) .
In a statement, the students' body said: "For hundreds of students in Tamei area, it will be their first experience".
Besides, the examination centre at Tamei will give great relief to the parents as well as the faculty members as the children will be writing their class XII examination in their own town.
LNKR-M also expressed its sincere gratitude to officials of CoHSEM for setting up the examination centre at Tamei in the interest of student community.
The body also conveyed gratitude to water resources minister Awangbow New-mai for rendering his selfless service for the welfare of his people.
"It is through his unwavering support, LNKR-M has been able to fulfil one of its top priorities", it added.
LNKR-M would also like to extend our heartiest appreciation and acknowledgement to Manipur College retired professor Dr L Sarat, who has rendered tireless service in the process of setting up of the examination centre at Tamei as well as towards the recognition of Lianglad as one of the subjects for the 10th and 12th standard," it further added.
LNKR-M further mentioned that Langmei Higher Secondary School, Tamei, is the only higher secondary school that functions in the area.
The student body also drew the attention of authorities concerned and the Education Department towards the needs of Langmei Higher Secondary School, Tamei, in terms of administration, infrastructure, required teachers and equipment for students.
