Lamlai AC MLA to focus on developing good schools, playgrounds

Lamlai Assembly Constituency MLA Kh Ibomcha asserted that special focus will be given in developing good schools and playgrounds to nurture students and sportspersons in the Constituency.
Kh Ibomcha who is also the Chairman of Manipur Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd made the above statement while speaking at Khashi Liklam Lankubiba ( Purification of Mind) programme held at Emmanuel English Academy, Yaingangpokpi today, said a press statement by the secretary of the academy.
The above programme was held to seek blessings for the Class 10 and 12 students of the school who will be appearing in the upcoming board exams conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) .
While stating that Emmanuel English Academy is a school where many students from Saikul, Ukhrul and Phungyar are studying apart from Lamlai, the MLA assured to extend best possible support from his end for the development of the school.
In this regard, he will consult and discuss with the MLAs of Saikul and Ukhrul as well, he added.
Expressing concern over the degrading indigenous culture and tradition of the State due to many unwanted external influences, he appealed to all to make concerted efforts to preserve these cultures and traditions in the interest of all.

As a part of the programme, the school extended best wishes to the students and presented pens to them.
