KYSU victorious in 1st Tbl District Open Volleyball tourney opener

Imphal, March 01 2023: KYSU-Kairembikhok, MYC- Heirok and LEWA-Lamding posted victories as the 1st District Open Volleyball Tournament organised by District Volleyball Association (DVA), Thoubal District under the aegis of the All Manipur Volleyball Association kicked off today.

KYSU thumped TESRA-Tentha 25-12, 25-21, 25-14 in the opening match of the 6-team tournament which is organised in the league cum knock-out format.

MYC then picked up their first victory beating YPO-Thoudam 19-25, 25-21, 25-8, 25-20 before LEWA pulled off a 25-18, 25-19, 25-22 win over AMYC-Andro in the third match.

Top four teams after round robin league will qualify for the semi-finals.
