Imphal, April 24 2023: Two fresh cases of Covid-19 were reported on Monday along with a recovery following which number of active cases in the state has risen to 9 .

The two fresh cases were detected out of 58 samples tested in the last 24 hours showing daily recovery reported positivity rate of 3.5 per cent.

One of them is a 26-year old female resident of Imphal East while the other is an 11-year old male resident of Noney district.

So far, 16,49,470 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the state, and out of them, 13,31,219 have received the second dose and 2,80,416 taken precautionary doses.
