PANDM condoles demise of Amu Kamei

Peoples' Action for National Democratic Movement (PANDM) has expressed deep condolences over the untimely demise of Zeliangrong leader Amu Kamei.
In a release, PANDM informed that a meeting presided by its president Yumnamcha DilipKumar was held on Monday at its Uripok office to condole the demise of Amu Kamei.
A two minutes' silence was also observed as mark of respect to the departed soul.
Speaking at the programme, Dilip-Kumar recounted that Amu Kamei held different posts of many civil society organisations, and also remembered the dedications and sacrifices Amu made to promote peaceful co-existence and strengthen the bond between the people of the hills and the valley.
Dilipkumar informed that Amu Kamei participated in many meetings held across North Eastern states which also gave him the opportunity to meet Union Home minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to air the people's demand for the implementation of ILP system in Manipur.
