World Malaria Day observed

Jiribam, April 25 2023:
World Malaria Day was observed at Jiribam Higher Secondary School hall today on the theme "Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement" .
The observation was organised by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Jiribam District Branch.
The programme was graced by IRCS Jiribam District Branch president H Rajen Kr Singh; Secretary L Jaminikanta Singh and Treasurer N Biraj as the presidium members.
During the programme, the speakers at the occasion deliberated on the preventive measures against malaria so as to eradicate the disease.
In connection with the programme, free mosquito nets were distributed to the selected locals.
