Commercial hub inaugurated at Moirengthel village

Tengnoupal, April 25 2023:
A new commercial hub was inaugurated today at Moirengthel village in Tengnoupal district.
The inaugural programme was organised by Moirengthel Town Planning Committee.
Former member ADC Chandel DP Thomas; former candidate from Tengnoupal Assembly Constituency in the State General Assembly Election 2022, TK Mosinpha and AYUSH State Nodal Officer Dr K Benedict graced as the presidium members of the event.
Members of different communities also attended the event.
Speaking at the occasion, Moirengthel Town Planning Committee Co-Convenor Marem Ason Maring expressed joy to witness the opening of the first commercial hub for the Maring community in Moirengthel.

He further expressed belief that the commercial hub will become an important commercial place for the State as well since it is located near Mingtha town of Myanmar which will enhance trade relation as per the Act East Policy.
With regards to the developmental activities taken up in Moirengthel village, he appealed to the authorities concerned to ramp up the construction work of the police camp and to carry out construction work of roads leading to the village under PMGSY scheme without compromising on the quality.
Further he sought the attention of the State Government to provide best possible aid for the infrastructural development of the newly inaugurated commercial hub.
Addressing the gathering, TK Moshinpha expressed that commercial development is vital for the progress of a society.
Therefore it is important to explore all the commercial aspects in their respective area, he added.
He went on to highlight the need of developing similar commercial hubs in other border villages of the State.
He also called for collective efforts from all for efficient functioning of the commercial hub.
Lastly he stressed on the need to urge the authorities concerned to ensure that the benefits of various Central and State Governmental schemes are availed by the genuine beneficiaries.
