YCM bemoans manifesto of pol parties

Youth Collective Manipur (YCM) has informed that none of the political parties in the state have featured all the 27 points based on five key issues brought up by the group in their respective manifestos.
Addressing a press meet on Friday, YCM member and HRA director Babloo Loitongbam said that the people's manifesto was published on November 17 last year after collecting suggestions and opinions from different CSOs and public.
The people s manifesto, which was based on five key issues - political & human rights, drug trafficking, food & agriculture, environment, women & youth, was presented to all the major political parties in the state for incorporation.
BJP featured seven points and Congress 12 while NPP included 13 points in their manifestos.
There were also seven key points regarding AFSPA removal and comprehensive & sustainable peace, of which BJP missed out ail the seven points while Congress, JD-U and NPP featured two points each including AFSPA removal, he said.
