BJP aims to develop Jiribam: Sharda

BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi has said that it is BJP's aim to bring development in Jiribam district.
Speaking at a one-day political conference of BJP candidate in Jiribam assembly constituency N Budhachandra held at Latingkhal ground on Friday, Sharda appealed to the people of the district to support Bud-hachandra and elect him as their representative to the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly while assuring of bringing inclusive development in the district.
She also assured of making sure that he gets a ministerial berth if elected.
Mentioning about the PMGKAY rice provided to the public free of cost by the Central government during the Covid-19 pandemic, Sharda said that BJP is the only party that stands for the public during their hard times.
The past Congress government failed to control bandh and blockade and it resulted in hike in prices of essential commodities.
Several women became Widows due to numerous fake encounter cases and drug abuse during the previous government's regime.
Today, BJP government has resolved all those issues, she said.
She further said that BJP does not have the culture of forgetting the public after election as the party understands that the supreme power in democracy lies with the people.
BJP government will provide two LPG refills under PMUY beneficiaries every year, Rs 25,000 scholarship to girl students and free scooty as well as iPad to meritorious girl students, she said.
Budhachandra appealed to the people of Jiribam district to support him so as to bring peace, development and communal harmony in the district.
BJP zonal secretary organisation Ajay Jamwal, Lakh-ipur MLA Kaushik Rai, BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretaries P Premananda, K Saratkumar, spokesperson L Veerjeet and other party leaders also attended the programme.
