Imphal, October 11, 2013:
Illicit drug trafficking and associated organised crimes were once considered as a socio-economic challenge in societies where they have taken roots.
But today the menace of drug trafficking has become a serious international issue, said the introductory part of a pamphlet published by the proscribed RPF's publicity department.
Manipur too has been witnessing its own share of woes resulting from illicit drug trafficking and associated organised crimes.
Unlike other parts of the world, clandestine drug operations seen in Manipur is a special campaign launched by New Delhi with the help of their accomplices with a sinister motive of exterminating the whole Manipuri nation, it alleged.
Apart from Manipur, New Delhi sponsored drug bandits have taken roots and established their networks in many countries of South East Asia, the outfit wrote in their pamphlet titled "Delhi bandits' drug politics in Manipur".
Capitalising on the rising popularity of synthetic drugs over drugs extracted from plants and subsequent growth in the volume and frequency of smuggling synthetic drugs, India has been spearheading a multi-pronged 'drug warfare'.
India has been producing huge quantities of chemicals such as Acetic Anhydride, Ephedrine, Pseudo-Ephedrine, Potassium Permanganate etc needed for producing different kinds of drugs.
India has also been assisting Myanmar in manufacturing synthetic drugs thereby earning big profits.
Under the facade of its Look East Policy, India has been following a specific strategy of drug warfare targeting many countries starting from Myanmar to Vietnam.
Supporting drug smugglers, grooming pseudo revolutionary groups, inciting inter-community/intra-community conflicts, rendering people addicted to drugs, facilitating arms trade in favour of their military strategy are all parts of a well established network devised by India aimed at giving a crushing blow to people's right to self determination.
By waging such a malicious drug warfare, New Delhi has been scheming to check spread of Chinese communism to Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, the so called India's North East region and even Yunan province of China by way of transforming people of these regions into drugs addicts.
At the same time, New Delhi has been nipping human resources of a large number of youngsters in the bud in Western South East Asia (WESEA) including Manipur thereby keeping the youngsters aloof from key national issues.
On the other hand, Indian military forces deployed in Manipur have transformed themselves into 'drug smugglers' from 'civilian killers' for their own personal interest.
This transformation has propelled the level of corruption to an alarming stage.
In this way, New Delhi has been working to bring about some sort of 'contraband economy' in WESEA.
In the last 12/13 years, the drug trafficking pattern took a new turn following which narco-terrorism took two different forms in Manipur.
In the first case, the Indian military promoted extensive poppy plantation in WESEA including Manipur and the secret drug route was extended up to China.
First, the drugs would be sent to China.
From there, the drugs would be re-routed to States under New Delhi's occupation.
In the second case, the Indian military set up a number of mobile drug laboratories along Manipur-Myanmar border and close to poppy plantation sites.
Drugs manufactured at these mobile laboratories are then supplied to people at cheap prices.
However, these days drugs are being manufactured using synthetic process partially.
Thus India has launched a synthetic drug warfare.
On account of massive production of pseudoephedrine by Indian pharmaceutical manufactures at the behest of Government of India, people have witnessed continuous smuggling of pseudoephedrine drugs from Indian to Manipur.
By manufacturing pseudoephedrine drugs in different forms and shapes in Manipur and nearby places under a specific strategy of India's 'narco-warfare', Manipur is now flooded with drugs which implies a direct assault on Manipur's economy.
What is more worrying is the alarming rise in the number of social crimes.
All these disturbing cases of human trafficking, addiction to drugs, loss of work culture and immigrants taking possession of local people's properties have been aggravated to an alarming level because India's narco-terrorism has been providing a solid platform for such organised crimes, read the pamphlet.
