Dy CM inaugurates temple

A temple of Ibudhou Awang Koubru deity constructed by one Purnimashi Devi at Kanglatongbi Mantriband has been inaugurated and dedicated to the people by the Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam today.
Speaking to the gathering of people from different communities, the Deputy CM called upon every section of the society to promote amity for sustaining communal harmony in the State.
Even though Manipur is a land-locked tiny State people with diverse religious interest and belief are settled here since time immemorial, said Gaikhangam who also stated that every section of the society need to contribute for continuous communal amity.
To ensure that Manipur march towards all round progress and development the people need to have faith upon the almighty and never deviate for the path of righteousness, he added.
Sekmai AC MLA Kh Devendro in his address announced that he would take the initiative for constructing devotees' sheds on the temple's southern and northern flanks as well as a community hall in the vicinity.
He also conveyed gratitude to Purnimashi and her family for the temple's construction.
