Extempore speech competition held

Imphal, April 12 2022:
In connection with the 42nd foundation day celebration of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Imphal East organised an extempore speech competition at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Andro on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP Imphal East president Pangabam Bishavar informed that the competition was organised as a part of the celebration which will continue till April 20 and in remembrance of social reformer and activist late Jyotiba Phule, who fought against caste system and worked for development of education in the country, on his birth anniversary which falls on April 11, he added.
Around 12 students of the school took part in the competition, the winners of which were resented books and pens as prizes.
BJP Imphal East general secretary Toijam Phoni, Mahila Morcha president M Nachom and BJP Andro Mandal president Suresh attended the programme as presidium members.
