CRPF dedicates football ground, market shed

A football ground which was constructed by 86 Battalion CRPF of M&N Sector under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2021-22 was formally inaugurated and dedicated to the villager on Thursday by commandant Mohamand Yusuf at K Lhangnqm village in Kangpokpi district.
According to a CRPF release, village elders requested for development of the ground to aid the local youth explore and nurture their latent sports talents.
The proposal was endorsed and development work initiated through use of machine and plantation of grass cover.
Speaking at the event, the commandant conveyed that the ground was developed to fulfill the dreams of the youth and build cordial relationship between the security personnel and the villagers.
Bamboo dance and warrior dance were also performed by the villagers during the event.
In another development, a market shed -which was constructed under CAP by the Battalion was also inaugurated and dedicated to the people by commandant Yusuf at Leikhampokpi village in Kangpokpi district on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the commandant expressed gratitude to the villagers for their active participation in CAP and ufged them to avail the facilities.
He also mentioned that CRPF will conduct more such programmes in the interest of local villagers in near future so that needy villagers could be benefitted to bridge the CRPF and public relation.
