86 Bn CRPF organises Civic Action Programme at Kpi

Kangpokpi, March 03 2022:
As part of Civic Action Programme, 86 Bn CRPF under the aegis of Manish Kumar Agrawal, IPS, IGP, Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF on Thursday handed over a market shed to the villagers of Leikhampokpi in Kangpokpi district.
Sh Mohd Yusuf, Commandant of 86 Bn CRPF inaugurated the function as chief guest in the presence of village chairman, said a release issued by 86-Bn CRPF.
The market shed was handed over to the villagers keeping in view the dire need of a market for the surrounding villages.
It will also save the time spent on going to the market at Kanglatombi, Motbung or Sekmai Bazar for selling/buying their agriculture products.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh Mohd Yusuf extended his appreciation to the villagers for their active participation in Civic Action programme and assured to conduct similar programmes in the future.

The villagers expressed their gratitude to the 86 Bn CRPF for its initiative.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the village chairman of Leikhampokpi.
Similarly, as part of the Civic Action Programme, Sh Mohd Yusuf has undertaken a development project in the area of L Lhangnom near Chil Chil in Kangpokpi district.
The villagers requested the CRPF to develop the football ground of L Lhangnom which was filled with stones and not suitable for playing games.
The Commandant considered the request and started the development work to dig out big stones from the ground and dumpers were hired to fill the ground with good soil.
On the final day of development work, a cultural programme was held with Sh Mohd Yusuf as the chief guest.
On the occasion, Sh Mohd Yusuf expressed his happiness in fulfilling the long standing demand of the villagers and assured to provide all possible assistance through the Civic Action Programme.
