Seminar on Ranch Mahabhoot concludes

The two-day regional seminar on "Sustainable Development of NE India through Nurturing Bhumi (Soil): An Important Panch Mahabhoot" organised by Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal and Bhartiya Kisan Sangh concluded at the College of Agriculture, Iroisemba on Friday.
In all, 54 farmers attended the first day of the seminar, while the second day had the participation of around 67 farmers.
Another 22 people including students and scientists from Manipur University and CAU also took part in the seminar.
Altogether 5 technical sessions were held during the seminar.
The first session was held on Sujalam - Sufalam - Sasyashyamalam and its conservation for future generation; second session on Bhumi Suposhan through Soil Microbiomes and Natural Farming Practices; third on Students' Poster Presentation under the theme 'Nature-based Farming System for Bhumi (soil) Suposhan and Sanrakshan'; fourth on Animal and Aquaculture-based Farming Model for Bhumi Sanrakshan; and the fifth session on Success Stories on Sustainable Soil Health Development from NEH region.
