Union minister of state for education Dr RK Ranjan has observed that a close partnership is needed between industry and academia for the nation to face all the evolving challenges of the world.
Speaking as chief guest at the inaugural function of the 12th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Education Summit 2022 held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi under the theme 'Reimagining Higher Education through Deeper Industry-Academia Engagement' on Friday, Dr RK Ranjan expressed that academia has a very close relationship with industrial sector as it provides research, manpower and ideas that can start new business ventures.

The minister pointed out the introduction of National Educational Policy 2020 has changed the educational scenario of the country with more focus on quality research, vocational training and other practical areas.
