Police Commemoration Day observed

Churachandpur, October 21 2022:
Police Commemoration Day, the Martyrs' Day for all police forces in India, was observed on Friday by Churachandpur district po lice, Pherzawl district police and 1st battalion IRB.
The joint observance of Police Commemoration Day at Churachandpur district police headquarters was attended by SP Shivanand Surve, Pherzawl SP Ghan-shyam Sharma and 1st IRB CO Lunkhomang Khongsai.
They led police personnel in paying homage to 264 personnel belonging to BSF, CRPF, ITBP, C1SF, SSB, RPF, Assam Rifles and state police who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
Names of police personnel who are to receive police reward for this year were also announced at the joint observance function.
kakching: Paying homage to martyred personnel, Kakching district police observed Police Commemoration Day,2022 at SP Kakching office on Friday.
The observance was attended by SP Shrey Vats, additional SP (LO) Augustine J Khongsai, additional SP (OPS) Chongtham Binoy,personnel Simple gifted to families of seven police personnel of Kakching who died while performing their duty and floral tributes were offered to the photos of martyred personnel.
Similarly, Chandei District Police observed Police Commemoration Day at the Sahid Minar of 8th Manipur Rifles, Leikhun.
The observance was attended by Chandel SP Pan-dey Hemant, additional SP Shangkeriit Loitongbam, additional SP (LO) Amarjit Lamabam, additional SP (Ops) TS Chamna Anal, 8th MR commandant Thong-zapao, deputy CO N Nobin Singh, SDPO, other officers and personnel.
