O Lukhoi vows to aid educated unemployed youth

Agriculture minister O Lukhoi has vowed to give more emphasis on educated unemployed youth of Wangoi assembly constituency and provide them income generating means if people of the constituency elect him again in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.
O Lukhoi kicked off his campaign for the election at his Yumnam Huidrom Thiyam Leishangkhong residence on Friday.
Addressing the gathering, O Lukhoi contended that he has solved the problems of road, electricity and water for the people of Wangoi AC after being elected twice and black-topping of remaining roads is currently going on in full swing and all black-topping works would be completed before the upcoming election.
He also appealed to people of the constituency to make the upcoming election a free and fair one and further appealed to workers of every intending candidate to follow democratic norms and maintain cordial relation before and after the election.
According to O Lukhoi, construction of water supply schemes to provide safe drinking water to people of Wangoi under Jal Jivan Mission has almost been completed and are planning to inaugurate the completed schemes before the upcoming election.
He also said that tender process for construction of water supply schemes at Wangoi, Samurou and Yumnam Huidrom had already been completed and steps will be initiated to begin the construction before the election.
