Kangpokpi, October 16 2021:
After the closure and suspension of admission process at JNV Tuinom in Churachandpur by KSO Churachandpur, Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills also suspended all admission processes of JNV Kangpokpi with immediate effect over the alleged fraudulent and faulty admission process of the school.
KSO Sadar Hills education secretary, K Songreng Kom informed all concerned stakeholders and the public of its compulsion to suspend the admission process of JNV Kangpokpi as fraudulent and faulty admission had been detected in the school.
He pointed out that as per Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) eligibility criteria Rule No 4.1, only candidates hailing from the concerned district where the JNV is located are eligible to apply for admission and the selected students on basis of the test will be admitted only in the JNV located in the district from where they are studying in.
However, after a close and scrupulous vigil checking and examination of the admission process, it has come to our knowledge that some of the schools within the district have manipulated the admission process by creating fraud students to appear in the JNV Kangpokpi selection test, he added.
He recalled that earlier KSO Sadar Hills had also found some schools issuing fake certificates to students who were not admitted in their own school, violating all norms and guidelines laid down for admission.
The education secretary warned that if any of the students were found admitted to the JNV Kangpokpi school with fraud documents and any schools were found issuing certificates to students not admitted in their school, the KSO Sadar Hills will take up stringent action in collaboration with the concerned authority and any eventuality will be upon the concerned department and the Headmaster/Headmistress of the concerned school issuing the certificates.
K Songreng Kom further cautioned that KSO Sadar Hills will not remain a silent spectator anymore if the issues and problems were not solved on time.
