MLA Noorul urges minorities to avail Govt schemes & progs

Kshetrigao AC MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan has urged minority communities to avail the benefits of various schemes and programmes launched by the government for the welfare of minority communities.
He was speaking at the 'National Minorities Rights Dat-2022' organised by Minorities Students' Association (MSA), Manipur at the multipurpose hall of Maharaj Bodhchandra College, Palace Compound, here, on Sunday.
The programme was attended by MSA, Manipur president Md Usman Ghani, MMWO advisor Abdullah Phundreimayum, Maharaja Bodhchandra College principal Dr M Chandra Singh, and social activists Lamtinthang Haokip and Sajad Bhuiyamayum as presidium members.
In his speech, MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan said that the government has taken up various measures for the welfare of minority communities and bring them up to an equal level with other communities.
He continued that the present CM Biren-led state government is trying its best to further strengthen the bond among the different communities of the state, while ensuring the rights of minorities.
Thus, he appealed to the minority communities to avail the various benefits provided by the government for their welfare.
