Kuki Gospel visual albums released

The Kuki Gospel visual album titled "Kakulpi Det" was released ahead of Christmas at J Songtun village in Kangpokpi District.
"Kakulpi Det" or "My Strong Fortress" was the second step of promising gospel singers Neijavah Kipgen and Ngahneihat Kipgen, residents of J Songtun village.
Chief Executive Officer of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi, James Doujapao Haokip, released the gospel visual album during an event held today at J Songtun village.
Speaking on the occasion, James Doujapao Haokip stressed on the importance of music in society.
"Listening to music gives peace and joy to the mind, inspires a person to do something better in life", said James while adding that the inspiring visual album was released at the right time just ahead of Christmas.
He also appreciated the promising duo Neijavah Kipgen and Ngahneihat Kipgen for their marvelous voice and talent.
Seilam Singsit, Haolet Khongsai, Helen Kipgen and Paokai Chongloi also spoke on the occasion.
The gospel visual album "Kakulpi Det" was produced by Satjamang alias Mangboi Kipgen.
Hatneithem Kipgen, wife of J Songtun chief also offered an altar as a mark of thanksgiving to God during the event.
The releasing ceremony was participated by Kangpokpi Town Committee members, Kangpokpi Youth Union leaders and prominent social workers of the area as special guests while K Kipgen attended as a dedicating minister.
Moreover, the Kuki gospel video titled "Aw Kahinkho Nopna Tohlou" produced by Evan K Gugun Khongsai was also released today at Unique Family Restaurant, New Lambulane, Imphal.
The releasing ceremony was attended by Meibon Paomei, ex-corporator Ward No 26; Kh Marung Maring, ex-MDC ADC Chandel 2-Machi DCC; L Romola Leima, ex-corporator Ward No 23; Kamei Joy Kabui, ex-corporator Ward No 21; and Jangminthang Haokip, proprietor GUNCHU Coaching Institute as presidium members.
Evan ST Daniel, general secretary SOCGAT-INDIA; Nl Hethem Doungel and Letsei Haokip also attended the event as special guests.
