Two more cases take active tally to 12

Imphal, April 10 2023: Government bulletin on Monday reported two new cases of Covid-19 out of 37 samples tested, thus recording a positivity rate of 5.4 per cent and taking the number of active cases in the state to 12 .

One of the two patients is a 25-year old male from Imphal West and the other a 76-year old female from Imphal East district.

Meanwhile, no vaccine dose was administered on Sunday and the number of vaccinated people remains at 16,49,470 out of which, 13,31,219 had received the second dose and 2,80,416 taken precautionary doses.

A statement of Covid-19 common control room advised the public to use face mask, wash hands regularly, avoid crowded places and get vaccinated to stay safe from the contagion.
