Produce actual documents with all agreed points within 7 days: ZUF

The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has cautioned the ZUF faction led by Jianchui Kamei to produce the actual document with all the agreed points duly signed by the three parties (Government of India, Government of Manipur and ZUF-J) to the Zeliangrong people within 7 days.
A release signed by G Nguiba, Ministry of Information & Publicity, ZUF, informed that the ZUF faction led by Jianchui Kamei has entered into a Cessation of Operation (COO) by signing an agreement on December 27, 2022 with the Government of India and Government of Manipur.
"It has been more than three months since this tripartite agreement was signed.
However, the contents of the Agreement or agreed points have not been disclosed to the Zeliangrong people till date.
Even the Zeliangrong Civil Society leaders who were present in the signing of the agreement are not given access to the provisions and terms of the agreement", it added.
The front stated that contents of the agreement was also not disclosed during its Raising Day programme held at Khoupum
"On the consultative meeting held in New Delhi by ZUF dated April 1, 2023, members present in the meeting insisted on tabling the agreement to ensure transparency is maintained but they did not reveal the contents for reasons best known to them", it claimed.
The front also asserted that the Zeliangrong people have every right to know the intent of the so-called negotiators and every minute details of the negotiation process should be made transparent to the people.
ZUF further cautioned that if the faction led by Jianchui Kamei fail to release the said document within the stipulated time, it will be construed that Jianchui gang has entered into an agreement which is detrimental to the cause of Zeliangrong Homeland demand.
