Passing out parade held at STC BSF

A grand passing out cum attestation parade of 158 recruits of Constable (Tradesman) Batch No 240 was held today at Satish Yadav Parade Ground, STC BSF Churachandpur.
The perfectly rhythm parade of new recruits who joined the country's Border sentinel today was inspected by Umesh Kumar Nayal, PPMG, PPMDS, Inspector General STC BSF Churachandpur, in the presence of Laishram Sarita Devi, Arjuna Awardee and Indian boxer.
Addressing the recruits, Umesh Kumar Nayal appreciated the excellent display of confidence and coordination during the passing out parade.
Congratulating the high standard of training imparted to the jawans, the IG urged all the recruits to serve the nation with all sincerity and dedication.
Highlighting the rich history of BSF as the largest border guarding force of the world, Umesh Kumar Nayal shared that training is a continuous process and should never stop.

"We should always be ready to learn new things with an open mind.
There will be a difference in training atmosphere and reality on ground", he asserted.
The recruits were administered oath of service and loyalty by Gulshan Kumar, Assistant Commandant, while Hidam Shubol Singh, Commandant/CI, accorded greetings to the guests.
Sonali Mishra, ADG Eastern Command BSF also conveyed her blessings to the newly passed out jawans.
The fascinating parade was commanded by Constable (Barber), Dipu Sonowal of 142 Battalion BSF.
As part of the event, medals were awarded to five trainees namely CT(SK) Mintu Ray, 142 BN BSF- All Round BEST in Indoor and Outdoor Activities; CT(CK) Lucky Baliar Singh, 2 BN BSF- Overall 2nd Best in Indoor & Outdoor activities; CT(BB) Dipu Sonowal, 142 Bn BSF- Best in Drill; CT(WC) Narayan Parida, 102 Bn BSF-Best in Firing; and CT(WC) Abhishek Singh, 100 Bn BSF- Best in Endurance.
After the impressive parade, Band Show and PT Jump Show were displayed.
The new recruits are set to fan-out across the country to join their respective battalions in all frontline duties.
During the 44 weeks of rigorous training, recruits were trained in physical training, weapon handling, firing, drill, border management, law, internal security, map reading, human rights, etc.
